Our History

Carmichael Honda was originally established as a Honda motorcycle dealership in December of 1962. In 1971, Carmichael Honda introduced the N600, Honda's first entry into the U.S. automobile market. The N600 was a very small car with a two cylinder 600 cc engine and room for four adults. Top speed was about 70 mph.

1973 we saw the introduction of the Honda Civic. This was Honda's entry into the U.S. market with a car that was large enough to be considered a "real" car. With a selling price of $2,100, the civic was an instant success.

Carmichael Honda is one of two dealerships offering the gas hybrid, the 2005 Honda Civic GX. Carmichael's owner is a strong proponent of these ecologically sound and innovative Honda vehicles. Carmichael Honda enjoys a strong customer base with many loyal customers.

Honda continues today with a now long-standing tradition of quality and value. The car magazines continue to give Hondas glowing reviews and Hondas continue to offer exceptional quality and value that it always has.
